Over the summer my family took a trip to Costa Rica and had a wonderful time. While there i could not help but to see the scenery as a future painting. This particular painting is made up from five different reference photos I took while there. I’ve gone back and forth on this piece a dozen times from love to hate. Most recently, last night, I was looking at it, since it currently hangs in my house across from my chair, and I fell in love with it again. I am telling you, it is the details that make this one jump out. There is so much rich color hidden in those waves. This piece comes ready to hang on gallery wrapped canvas and measures 40”x30”.
