Jesus is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His shed blood for the redemption of mankind. I painted a version of this piece about four years ago and really wanted to revisit it. I chose to abandon subtlety in the red “shadow” and just throw the name “KING” right in there.
